  1. Hi,

thank you for the possibility to participate on this competition. As for the reason why: dribbble have the best creative people as members, so… I must be there :) !!

here is my shot: iWASHING-REMOTE :D

Hi Diego, thank you for this opportunity!
I’d like to be invited in Dribble because I’d like to improve my design skills with the help of that AWESOME community. I also love the way I could showcase my W.I.P. with the rebound system.
Here’s my shot, an icon I made for a friend of mine who started the web service “molies.it”:

  4. Hello!:)

My name is Marin and I’d like to be a full time dribbbler because I want to share my work with the rest of the design community and get the priceless feedback of the fellow designers.

I’ve included a shot of a show’s website I did awhile ago (farmer wants a wife)

    link to the site: http://fermer.novatv.bg

  5. I am amazed by the quality of the entries already !!!

  6. I would love to be part of the Dribbble community because every post is beautifully high quality, and every designer is talented. The community just seems super awesome from a prospects view, and I can’t wait to see what it’s like on the other side!

Here’s a snap of my 3D Wooden Shelf that I made a little while ago, but think it’s super awesome!

  7. I want to join Dribbble so that I can network with other creatives and expand my skills. As a freelancer it can be difficult to receive constructive and useful feedback on current projects.

  8. Hi,
I would like to be part of the dribbble community because i want to get professional feedback in my designs and help new members as well.

check bellow my last work :)

    hope you like it

  9. Hey,

The reason I want to be part of Dribble is because of the amazing community, I want to share my work with these people and I want to hear what they have to say about it. I feel it will really. help me improve as a designer and help my future.

  10. I’ve yearned for a dribbble invite for what seems like ages. After months of competing for invites I gave up trying to find one for a long time but I would still continue to check the site on a regular basis. Working in advertising for big name clients makes it difficult to update a dribbble account on a regular basis because of various NDAs and other rules. However, I think having a dribbble account would encourage me to do more personal projects and to continue to grow as a designer and not just a “Art Director.”

I am continually amazed by the quality of work but there is one thing that has driven me crazy since the beginning. The lack of real, constructive feedback. As it is now there is far too much back patting and “wow cool!” comments. In the end it’s really just become a cool design showcase rather than a hub for great constructive feedback. Whether it was the in the classroom or at work, I’ve always made it a point to give honest constructive feedback…especially when everyone else was picking out the good pieces. I think this kind of feedback would be my biggest contribution to the community.

There will always be people with better work but I truly believe dribbble needs something more. I can’t make that change alone but I can help plant the seed.

    Here is my sample shot:

  11. Shane Burroughs

I need this invite because a dribbble invite is an invitation to join the design community!

In many ways dribbble has become an accrediting body for quality designers.

I would use this access to feedback and motivation to forge ahead, testing and pushing the boundaries or my design ability.

I would just love to part of the Dribbble community. I spend more time browsing the site than I do Facebook or Twitter. It’s more like my daily news. So here is my shot. It’s an interface that I am working on for an iPhone app. Still very early on. http://bashme.org/Interface.png

  13. @Diego

I think i should be part of dribbble cause its designer’s elite newspage. All creative, professional designers are sharing some of the best pixel craft’s on the web. Collaboration with all designers get’s your skills on new level, witch i would like to fulfill ;)

    Hi there!

I’ve been stalking Dribbble for quite some time now, always wished I could be part of the Dribbble community and submit samples of what I’m working on. Nothing better than getting feedback from other designers alike! Below is a sample of my submission. It’s part of a project I’ve been working on for quite some time now. This is just one of the many weather conditions I’ve created for an app called WeatherSnitch. I’d love to post more and will if I get accepted.

  16. Hey Diego!
It’s great you are offering a Dribbble invite. I look at dribbble just about every day. The art that’s on display there is amazing. It has inspired me to improve my craft. I would love to be able to join in on the discussion, make comments and get feedback on my own designs. I know that I have the skill to be a part of this community. Now I just need the invite.

    Thanks for your consideration.

  21. Hi Diego,

The main reason is to learn and be every day a little better professional.

I appreciate the opinion and exchange of views among many designers. You can find from beginners to the most recognized professionals, but all with talent and something in common: a love for design.

    Thanks and best regards.

Quiero estar en Dribbble porque es mi desafío!

  31. I don’t really want a dribble account to show off work, I actually just value the feedback the community gives to other designers on their work and projects. I think having a dribble account would help me personally grow as a design and help tremendously with projects. It’s often hard finding feedback from the people you work with and the dribble community seems extremely smart when it comes to useful feedback.

I also think that dribble would help motivate me to finish my personal projects, I have tons of work that I would love to share with the dribble community. I would also love to give feedback and try to help/inspire others in the community.

  34. physicx

I’d love to get an invite this time round, as dribbble would offer me a great opportunity to get feedback on my work, to develop myself as a designer, and also allow me to share my own constructive feedback with other users to help them with their own professional development.

  39. Hi,
    In a few words : I need a invitation !!
Why ? Because i want to be parts of this awesome community and share some work and some critic in my work. In that way i can progress & can get better & doing a better world :p
Oh and also because there isn’t a lot of french i suppose :p
    Here’s my shot : http://d.pr/uBQw

Good luck everyone and thanks dmonzon & chetsi14 for the opportunity :)

  40. I am the sole designer in my company so i have a limited amount of quality feedback for a designer. Dribbble would bridge that gap I have with being the only designer. I work on a wide variety of projects such as print collateral, web design, UI design, clothing and much more. I have been a follower on Dribbble for a while now and really feel that my work meets the level of quality that exists on Dribbble.

  41. Dribbble is a great community of designers that continues to give me inspiration, I would love to be a part of that community and give back while continuing to learn & grow with my work.

    And thanks for the contest!

  42. Here is my URL. http://www.bigpitcher.nl/downloads/DJ-table2.jpg

And why do i need a dribbble account? Because i can be very useful and inspirational for many people… i think. I’m a designer for more than 12 years now. I didn’t know about this website for about one month ago. In Holland Dribble isn’t that famous.. maybe from now on it will be ;-)

  43. Hi Diego! I’ve just recieved an invite))) So, pls remove my request from the contest. Good luck everyone!

  45. Hey !
Thanks for giving us this opportunity.
I would love to be part of the Dribbble community because whenever I browse the website everything is just so beautiful, and the community really seems to be nice as well. I like the way everybody comes and constructively criticize the shots. I really think entering Dribbble would allow me to grow as a designer, and I’d love that to happen !

Here is my dribbble profile http://www.dribbble.com/vincentghyssens and the shot I’d like to post http://cl.ly/3G0V081S3p2V390m3R3U

  46. Stefano Giacomuzzi

    Hi Diego and chetsi14,

Thank you very much for the invites!

I visit Dribbble every day to search for inspiration and I’d really really like to be a part of the community (which in my opinion is by far the best out there) mainly to receive feedback from other designers more experienced than me and to share my work with the whole community! Being a young designer I think feedbacks are very important to improve my skills! :)

Here is my 400 x 300 px shot:

Check out the bigger size if you wish:

    Thanks again!

  47. Hey Diego and Chetan, how’s it going? I love doing UI designs for mobile devices and Dribbble would be a great place for me to show snippets of my themes in the works. Personally, I would love to be apart of a design community that is full of inspiration and passion to design better and better.

Here is a snippet of something I am currently working on. http://www.flickr.com/photos/65731577@N04/5985030026/in/photostream

    Here is my reasons:
Dribble is awesome (well that’s obvious) I use it in my day to day to get inspiration for my work and would love to contribute back to the community with my work. I work as a UI / UX designer and also work on my own projects in my part time. Also the 8th of August is my birthday :P

Thanks for the change to get this invite..

  49. Hey, thanks for the nice contest.
That will be my debut shot, if it with the invite works. ;)

A long time ago, i began to search for an invite. I hope it works now for me.

  50. I want to join Dribbble to connect with like minded creatives form around the globe.

  51. A lot of comments, but going to see if i am lucky! Dribbble would be awesome, but i don’t need to tell you that.

Hard to choose one, but here you go:

Thanks for the “contest” and good luck finding the best!

  52. Here’s my shot, some quality is lost due to it being a .gif

Thanks for the contest, would be awesome if I could get a dribbble invite!

    • Me being me didn’t read that I had to post why I would like to be on Dribbble, so here we go:
      > I’m constantly on Dribbble everyday looking through shots and would love to post alongside all the big names in design.
      > Dribbble would help promote myself a bit further as I have hit a rut and can’t seem to gain many views on designs/websites I create.
      > Last but not least, Dribbble (wow, I’ve mentioned the site one too many times in this post) is awesome! Nothing else to it really.

Not sure how you’re tracking whether we’ve tweeted or not as you didn’t ask for twitter user names, in which case however, mine is @chrsf.

      Thanks for the opportunity!

  53. D4Tocchini

(if & when) my first Dribbble: http://img.rituwall.com.s3.amazonaws.com/dribbble/announce-UI-bottom-left3.png

I find myself pulling all-nighters with developers, not fellow designers. I am keenly aware that feedback is key to a successful UX design, and its too easy to visually impress a pure techie. Dribbble will grant me an authentic feedback loop with the designers I look to for inspiration… As iron sharpens iron, I hope Dribbble’s impressive talent pool will make me a better designer.

    • D4Tocchini

@diegomonzon, just came across your Graphic River assets… Hardcore! Love the DJ like tablet UI’s, thanks for making ur work available, I’m sure ur the secret sauce for quite a few designers right now! In fact noticed some of the above Dribbble entries (I’m looking at you @Mickel), used minimally tweaked versions of one of your UI sets. I’m not hating on anyone, but man, hats off to u, @diegomonzon! If – I were to throw a design competition and receive entries wrought from my own creative efforts as evidence of a candidate’s creative skills – I would feel like I made it!

  54. Hey Guys,

  55. I am looking for a Dribbble invite as I believe my design skills and creativity will add to the Dribbble community and help others become inspired on the projects they work on. I have been on Dribbble as a spectator for sometime, creating Buckets and Liking Shots and would really like to move my status up on the site to Player allowing me to give back more to the Dribbble community.

  56. Florent Crivello

I don’t want to be invited on Dribbble.
Dribbble is the place to be for any designer worthy of the name. As Wikipedia is a place where “the sum of all human knowledge is available”, Dribbble is the place where the sum of all good designers skills is, radiating the whole web with its source of amazing 400×300 shots.
Hence, I don’t want to be invited on Dribbble : I need it, to help and to be helped.

  57. Hello from Spain, good contest & good take on the audio stuff.

I only have the obvious reasons, and as far as we are on this there’s no much to explain (feedback, awesomeness…)
Saying it on the dribbblic way: it’s just great to be on the court improving our game and rubbing elbows with other players.

    Awesome entries! Good luck everyone!

    • Stefano

I think I probably forgot the main reason why I’d like to be invited on dribbble: it would encourage me to share more projects and to work more therefore to improve my skills.

  60. Savman_

Put simply, I want to be the best I can possibly be in the field of design, its borderline an obsession but it’s a healthy one at that (I hope).

All day long I live and breathe design, when I’m walking down the street, getting on the bus, reading a magazine, doing my weekly shop, design is usually on my mind. I am obsessed by pure pixel perfection, and becoming part of dribble will help me take that next step in my own self improvement. I feel I have a different style to most, something refreshing to add to the dribbble showcase. I love the design community, I love appreciating the work of people around me, being inspired by fantastic designers and artists, and hopefully one day inspiring those around me too.

    My website: http://www.three-squared.com

For years now I have cultivated my artistic awareness and technical skill in the realm of graphic design. Nevertheless I still have a tremendous amount to learn, and I can think of no better place for that to happen than in a community of skilled people whose passion for art and design rivals mine. I hope you can help me make this happen, and I look forward to your reply.

Thanks again.

  62. Hi,

I love interfaces, I love to design them and I love to share my work and to get a feedback. That’s the reasons I want to be part of Dribbble. Here’s shot from my recent work:

Tell me, if you’d like to see more.

  64. Hello!

I am super excited about entering in the contest! I have been trolling Dribbble for a few months now, and would really like to be able to play a more active role in the community. My biggest strength is print, but I have been trying my best to get more into Web & Icon design. I feel like being a player in the Dribbble community would allow me to further pursue that desire and I would be able to contribute a ton!

If you like it, PLEASE check my flickr, comments are welcome (:

    God Bless,

  66. I will post the usual I’m designing this thing, need feedback stuff. But I will try to bring up a smile to people faces with stuff like this shot:

Wouldn’t be cool to have the guy behind Super Steve Bros. game at dribbble?
Don’t worry about the approval of my app, I already have Ninja Steve available at the AppStore (don’t blame me for Ninja Steve, it exists only to test the Steve of the upcoming game). Promo video after the break (featuring Song A Day Mann [iPhone Antenna song author])

  67. Michele

I would love to part of the dribble community so that I can get feedback on my work and grow as a designer. I would love the opportunity to play an more active role in the awesome Dribble community.

  68. My name is Tim Smith. I am a student at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. I like doing print, packaging, motion, video, and visual effects. As you can tell, I prefer to do a wide range of styles and disciplines rather than focusing on one. I want to be a renaissance man creative.

While Dribbble has a multitude of great work, there seems to be a lot of trends going on there. While my work does touch on those styles, I feel that what I create is diverse enough to be something separate from the trends that are on Dribbble.

I think being a part of the Dribbble community is a great way to grow as a creative. Designers are our best critics – they know design better than any client will ever know. I’ve been looking for a good place to receive feedback on projects both personal and professional.

What you see in my shot is a crop of an conceptual advertising campaign I did for the San Diego Zoo. Note: this is student work, not an actual account.

Be sure to see my other work @ http://be.net/thesmithlab

    Thank you for the opportunity.

  70. Hi Diego.

I’m a 18 year old student studying graphic design. I’m currently working as an intern at a studio i Oslo and my goal is to become a great graphic designer. One of my biggest dreams in life is to be able to work with like minded people that share the same interest for creativity and design.

I would really appreciate a dribbble invite, and I think it would be a great way for me to grow as a designer and connect with other like minded people. I love all the styles and trends on dribbble and I learn a lot by browsing and making my own “shots” in similar styles.

I absolutely love extreme clean, very detailed and pixel perfection graphic and webdesign. Dribbble is much more than that and I could fall in love of other wonderful things.

  74. Hello.
My name is Mathias and I’m an interaction design student from Norway. I have the past 5 years had interaction design as a hobby. But I really want to go into the professional market and become one of the best in Norway in my industry.

Dribbble is for me one of the greatest forms of innspirasjon for me. It is always exciting to see and follow the new trends that appear. So I would appreciate a dribbble invitation. That way I can mingle with like minded people in the dribbble community and be part of inspiring others.

Here is my dribbble snap shot: http://cl.ly/96TY This is a Norwegian site that I work with that launches this Monday :D
